Fall Fun at Water Street

The Fall season is truly one of my favorite times of the year. I believe I have blogged before about looking forward to the sights, and scents of the Fall season whether it be a pumpkin spice latte or a visit to the local pumpkin farm. Speaking of pumpkins I love taking Lilli out to the Amador Flower Farm in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The vineyards are just gorgeous this time of year and examining pumpkins with a three year old is always a lot of fun and requires quite a bit of patience! I love how she looks closely at each one, pondering which one she likes the best and in some cases the least! I must admit she probably gets her pumpkin expertise from her mom as I am a bit of a pumpkin addict myself and love all of the colors and shapes. They look absolutely gorgeous in our rustic wood dough bowls….the vibrant rust and orange just pop off of the dark wood backdrop and create the perfect centerpiece for one of our fabulous wood harvest tables.

I am also quite fond, maybe too fond of the fabulous food finds that accompany the Fall season. My mom is a superb chef and she loves creating new Fall dishes that cast their warm, rich, spicy aroma. She loves to whip up traditional and new, innovative Fall delicacies that warm our hearts and our tummies.

The Fall season also brings to mind the fact that family gatherings are on the horizon. Whether if be for Sunday dinner or a traditional Thanksgiving Feast what better way to add rustic elegance to your home than a custom made harvest table from Water Street??? We feature several leg style options, as well as a trestle base and all of our tables are constructed here in our warehouse by hand. They feature solid wood construction-never any plywood, MDF or other synthetic materials. If you want a table that will genuinely last for generations come on by and see what we offer.

Not only do we feature wonderful tables in all sizes but also fabulous, solid wood furniture for every home furnishing need. Whether you need end tables for the guest room, a new coffee table, or a spectacular buffet for serving your fine feast Water Street is truly your one stop shop for handcrafted, solid wood furniture and antiques.
